Anthesis Group Expands Swedish Leadership Team with the Appointment of Johan Sidenmark
Anthesis Group, the sustainability activator and the largest dedicated team of sustainability professionals in the world, today announced the appointment of Johan Sidenmark to the role of Senior Consultant and Business Area Manager for Resource Economy in Sweden. With over twenty years of professional expertise in project management for environmental and sustainable development, both nationally and internationally, Johan brings valuable insights to Anthesis’ Swedish Team. As Senior Consultant and Business Area Manager, Johan will be working alongside Agneta Persson, Managing Director, Anthesis Sweden, in resource economy, environmental management and strategic environmental assessments.

Senior Consultant and Business Area Manager
Johan joins Anthesis from DGE, a sustainability consultancy based in Sweden, where he held the role of Regional Manager and focused on environmental management, sustainable business development and the circular economy. With a 25-year career in sustainability, Johan has supported many initiatives globally including developing environmental policies in Malmö city, social sustainability and capacity building in Bangladesh, creating environmental strategies and research planning in Antarctica, and supporting with climate mitigations for Swedish airports.
Alongside his consultancy professionalism, Johan has also demonstrated great entrepreneurial talent as he co-founded Biosorbe AB in 2013, a Nordic-based bioengineering company. In close collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology, Johan helped to develop a biobased oil-absorbent which is now entering the market.

Johan joined Anthesis in September 2020 and will be based out of Anthesis’ Swedish headquarters in Stockholm. Johan also dedicates his time to volunteer as he is a founder and Chairman of One More Salary, an established NGO which aims to eradicate poverty through sustainable incomes.
