Ecosystem services

Ecosystem services are the benefits humans get from nature and its ecological systems. Today, the ecosystem service concept runs like a common thread through Anthesis’ business, that is, in the research, consulting and education we carry out. The demand for  analysis of ecosystem services is big among authorities and it is increasing among municipalities and companies, who are also interested in finding out what ecosystem services mean to them. Anthesis’ experience of analyzing ecosystem services goes back to the mid 1990’s when the concept was first defined.
